S – 300 Missiles To Be Delivered To Syria Following The Downing Of Russian IL-20

Can't Mossad the Assad

Israel will now have to reconsider their attacks on Syria, after Moscow confirmed they will be equipping Syria with the S – 300 long range surface to air missile systems within 2 weeks.  This is intended to act as a deterrent against any more Israeli air strikes on Syria, and would be used if Syria is attacked.  Russia have said they have done this to prevent any further friendly fire against Russian aircraft or military personnel.

Israel had got used to carrying out air strikes against Syrian targets with impunity in recent months but will now have to recalculate before attacking further.

The Russian MoD have provided clarification that Israeli jets were responsible for the downing of the Russian IL-20 aircraft. While Israel officially claimed their F-16 jets were inside Israeli airspace at the time of the incident, data from the Russian MoD has shown that not only were the Israeli jets in Syria, but they in fact used the Russian IL-20 aircraft as cover. The Syrian anti air missile then changed its course before hitting the Russian plane.

“Today’s data does not just suggest but prove that the blame for the tragic downing of the Russian Il-20 airplane lies entirely with the Israeli Air Force. All Israel’s claims about its alleged noninvolvement in this tragedy that claimed lives of 15 Russian servicemen are false."

It's actually difficult to understand what exactly Israel is trying to achieve by bombing Syria, other than supporting the various terrorist groups who oppose Assad. Once the S - 300 is in place, Assad may be able to finish off the terrorists for good. S - 300 is an entirely automated launch system that will now shoot down Israeli jets, and if that happens, Israel will now have no one to blame but themselves. It's basically checkmate now in Syria in favour of Assad and Russia, and a spectacular backfire for Zionist Israel.

  1. Awesome news! But keep an eye on Mother Russia — the protest movement there hasn’t gotten much press overseas, and is related to retirement age and not foreign policy or culture, but the usual suspects are using the opportunity to undermine Putin and United Russia. Could cool off, or could be a threat of regime change by proxy.

  2. The S-300 will make a great addition to Syria’s air defense network and be able to instantly identify friendly and Russian aircraft which will increase the response time to enemy attacks. Anybody who tries to attack these sites will also have to deal with the new short range Pantsir-S1 giving Syria one of the most modern airdefense networks besides the superpowers.
