You may have heard by now, feminist actor and comedian Aziz Ansari was recently accused by a white woman he went on a date with of sexually assaulting her after the date. He apparently ignored her verbally telling him no and her trying to move away, forcefully performing a move called "the claw" on her repeatedly, among other things. I guess we shouldn't be surprised a person so loudly pro-feminism and against sexual assault does shit like this behind the scenes, right?
The NBC line producer Margaret Menefee responded to the allegations by defending him on Twitter, saying this:
Note that "Becky" is a slur for a white woman:
So if a white "Becky" accuses a brown person of sexual assault, it's ruining the #MeToo movement? Maybe this lady didn't get the message yet, but most of the Hollywood rapists accused so far are Jews, not white. She locked her account shortly after posting this, probably hoping to avoid getting fired. Like NBC would fire her for that anyway, right? Here's to hoping though.
The Atlantic's Caitlin Flanagan also had a somewhat racist take on it, saying she assumed that the #MeToo movement would stay focused on college-educated white men and that Aziz didn't deserve being destroyed.
How dare "privileged young white women open fire on brown-skinned men"! Only white people are supposed to get swept up in this! Maybe it's a good thing the Tribe looks white, otherwise, the #MeToo movement may have never happened, and Hollywood degeneracy would continue unabated. Hopefully, people wake up to who is actually doing this shit.
