~ ☆ ★ Welcome to the Anime Club ★ ☆ ~
The flash point between Israel and Syria feels like it could burst any moment and spark World War 3. That much anticipation can be exhausting. Put your feet up for a while and join us for some quality non-Talmudic laden content!
Which Anime Shall We Watch Next Month?
Our previous Anime Club saw the highest attendance of any of our previous events. It feels like we've created something really special here for our community. Let's see how far we can take it!
The next Anime Club will meet on the first Sunday of June (the 3rd) @ 5 pm PST / 8 pm EST.
As always the choices are intended to be enjoyable for seasoned anime fans and newfags alike so feel free to vote no matter how much of an aficionado you are.
Without further adieu the choices for next month's anime are as follows:
1. Girls und Panzer der Film
Tankery is an art form which aims to make every girl a better wife through disciplined execution of tank warfare. This slice of life high school anime is great for those of our readers who enjoy moe and are big warfare buffs.
2. Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn Re: 0096
Arguably one of the best introductions to the vast and revolutionary Gundam franchise. With beautiful sound design and familiarly structured character design and plot, Unicorn offers an easily digestible taste of the politically rich Gundam universe. Also, the writer is allegedly a political right-wing imperialist.
Satoru Fujinuma has the ability to travel a few minutes back in time to commit good deeds. Unfortunately, this sometimes comes at a cost. Because Satoru retains his memories from each time travel, a murder mystery plot begins to unravel.
Crippling autism and hyperbolic reactions are rampant within the group chats of our greater anime nibba family. Nichijou offers the anime manifestation of this style of socializing. With the unassuming title of "My Ordinary Life", Nichijou makes the mundane exciting and enjoyable.
