In a not too subtle display of capitulation, Jair Bolsonaro has publicly declared that he “loves Israel” while on a state visit to Israel. At the same time, Israel’s energy minister has announced that Brazilian state-run oil firm Petrobras will take part in a process of oil and gas exploration in Israel. It certainly seems the newly elected ‘far right’ Bolsonaro has been bought off.
Bolsonaro has declared he wants to establish close relations with US president Donald Trump but it seems that if you want close relations with the US, you go to Bibi first. Bolsonaro has announced plans to open a trade office in Jerusalem.
It seems now to be a basic requirement of all populist administrations around the world to declare subservience to Israel. You only have to look at the terrible conditions in Venezuela and the demonization of the rightfully elected Maduro to see the devastating consequences of taking a stand against Israel and the international financial system. The US simply attempted to impose their own candidate on Venezuela, who is completely loyal to international finance and Israel.
The long reach of pervasive Israel lobbying is becoming more suffocating with each passing day. The ability to subvert and stifle populist movements that appear anywhere in the world, and ruin any nation that dares stand apart from them is the very essence of corrupt globalism.
To top it off Bolsonaro has even touched that stupid wall in Israel, that every other head of state seems to have to do.
