The ADL has accused President Donald Trump of over politicizing bi-partisan support for Israel, which they claim is damaging to the security of Israel and the Jewish community. On a press release on Monday, the ADL accused Trump of using support for Israel and Jews as a shield, while doubling down on what they claim is the talking points of white nationalists.
Recently Trump made some controversial tweets suggesting four anti-Zionist democrat congresswomen should return to their home countries and fix the corruption there before criticizing America. This has caused a meltdown in the media who have accused the President of being racist.
Not least the ADL, who are obviously worried by the harsh and uncompromising rhetoric coming from Trump that will now be echoed by his supporters. The ADL has heavily targetted Trump with accusations of having emboldened and given encouragement to anti-semitism and racists, and who along with Sheldon Adelson and Jared Kushner are likely responsible for the softening of his tone toward the Democrats since his presidency. The ADL heavily oppose the slogan America First.
The ADL’s constant accusations of anti-Semitism were central to the decision to disinvite cartoonist Ben Garrison from the White House social media summit, but it’s clear now that no amount of appeasement is enough for them. Which is contributing heavily to the rise in anti-Semitism fatigue among Americans.
Politicizing the widespread, bipartisan support for Israel and throwing around accusations of anti-Semitism is damaging to the security of Israel and the Jewish community, lead by example, stop politicizing these issues and stop smearing members of Congress.
This is exactly the kind of comment the ADL hate because it more than implies the United States does not need to change. America doesn't need progressiveness and there doesn't need to be a great demographic replacement by immigration. It's very similar to saying "it's ok to be white."
The ADL, on the other hand, is specifically concerned with 'changing' America.
