The full significance of the Groyper uprising is starting to take it's toll on Charlie Kirk's Turning Point USA organization, after all the leadership of the Kansas State University chapter announced on Thursday that they are stepping down from their positions because the so-called "conservative" organization no longer reflects their conservative values.
The former president of the KSU chapter of TPUSA made a statement announcing his resignation, listing several reasons why he was quitting, including their refusal to promote socially conservative values, their tone-deaf views on immigration, and the group’s “culture of censorship.”
Specifically, Jaden McNeil was unimpressed with TPUSA's attitude towards the Covington Catholic High School kids, who were relentlessly attacked by the mainstream media and left-wing activists. Charlie Kirk and TPUSA had no problem joining the left-wing chorus condemning the innocent high school students for having the gall to smile in the face of an adult’s aggressive behavior. The TPUSA leadership only changed their tune when it became safe to take the side of the MAGA-supporting Catholic high school students.
McNeil also said that despite TPUSA claiming to support free speech, they had actually fostered a culture of censorship, with some subjects completely off-limits. He specifically cited the severing of the relationship with TPUSA brand ambassador Ashley Sinclair after she was photographed with Nick Fuentes. He also said he did not believe that gay marriage and drag queens should be glorified, in the manor heavily promoted by Charlie Kirk.
Just this week, Sebastian Gorka and the Zionist Organisation of America have urged Silicon Valley to censor Nick Fuentes after the Groyper insurgency of the TPUSA "Culture War" event at the Ohio State University last week. The former Trump administration official Sebastian Gorka and the Zionist Organization of America are leading the charge against Fuentes, accusing him of being a holocaust denier without pointing to any specific quote that Fuentes made denying the holocaust.
This example of conservative cancel culture shows that many on the right will use leftist tactics whenever they feel it politically advantageous for them to do so. Principled conservatives are standing with Fuentes, despite Conservative Inc's attempts to destroy him.
