UK Prime minister Theresa May has called for a crackdown on criticism of politicians on social media, calling it a growing ‘threat to our democracy’. More likely this means a growing ‘threat to their globalist hegemony’ though, as they clearly only really have their own political interests in mind.
Theresa May has said the law commission would look at which laws were needed to crack down on what they call ‘offensive online communications’ and said that a new tone of bitterness and aggression had entered the public debate. However more likely there is a new tone of bitterness and discontentment towards Theresa May and members of parliament in particular from people on social media, that they want silenced to ensure their continued globalist multicultural hegemony.
This blatant crackdown on free speech is just another attempt to turn the UK political arena into a bland echo chamber that only serves the interests of globalists and multiculturalists, where the rise of a real nationalist opposition would be all but impossible. Thus ensuring their continued political dominance regardless of any actual resentment from the public.
Recently an online petition for the UK government to uphold free speech got the required amount of signatures for a parliament response.
The response was well... predictable.
This all, however, serves as the perfect reminder to support Paul Nehlen's 'Shall Not Censor' bill, as this clearly demonstrates how cracking down on free speech is a slippery slope.
