This morning President Trump announced the death of ISIS leader Al-Bagdadi during a raid by the US Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) on Saturday night.
In his statement, he said that a number of relevant players were given advance notice, namely Russia, Syria, Iraq, and Turkey. He also said that he deliberately did not inform "some people" in Washington fearing that they could leak that information and cost us American lives. It was later confirmed that among those who were kept in the dark were Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.
This bold move by President Trump has enormous implications, aside from killing the leader of ISIS, Trump proved that Russia, the bogeyman of the deep state, can be trusted with sensitive top-secret intelligence and did not leak or sabotage the operation. But he also implied that Pelosi and the deep state could have leaked if they were told, either just to spite him or because the deep state might be colluding with ISIS itself.
In a statement released this morning and obtained by our reporters via Fox News, Pelosi gave credit to everyone but Trump for the success of the operation.
It is worth noting that the JSOC are elites among the elites and they answer directly to the president, which is how the deep state was kept in the dark about this operation. The team suffered no casualties besides a K9 operator who was lightly injured. The name of this heroic dog has yet to be released but we will keep him in our prayers.
