Journalists reacted in fear as Elon Musk was able to purchase the domain for Pravduh.com, a play on Pravda the Russian word for truth.
Elon eventually cut right to the core of the issue, causing many people to speculate just exactly who he was referring to...
Since the term "fake news" was coined, many people have asked how we can tell what's real. Even fact-checking sites such as Politifact and Snopes aren't immune to this as they have been perceived to have a political bias, and other groups that market themselves similarly such as Correct the Record, ADL, and SPLC have clear agendas that run against the truth. In such an environment, Musk's idea to rate journalists' integrity and crowdsource it is a breath of fresh air. As the most trusted name in shitposting, we eagerly await the launch of Pravduh for the chance to defend our title.
