Anime Right News (ARN) — European Union Chief Jean-Claude Junker will step down following the 2019 European Elections. Junker said recently in an interview on Deutschlandfunk radio that he would not “…be putting myself forward as a candidate for a second time.”
Junker, 62, who took office on November 1, 2014, has had his first term tainted by Brexit and his on-going feud with United States President Donald Trump.
