Rambo last blood fails to make you feel like a global citizen. It was disappointing to see there were no scenes of Rambo killing white guys and pissing on crosses. 2/10.
Okay, okay here's an actual quote:
If the idea of Rambo laying waste to several tons of human meat sounds exhilarating know that your eventual laughter will likely be of the bitter incredulous variety. The violence is over-the-top… and who are these people Rambo is murdering? The film’s plot closely resembles Taken in its setup, its older dad action fantasy, and its cultural insensitivity. When Rambo’s niece goes to Mexico to find her estranged father she’s almost instantly kidnapped and sold into sexual slavery by two cartoonishly evil Mexican crime lords… The film makers have made Mexico seem like an infinite wasteland of crime and death and most of the Latino characters on screen are criminals or broad stereotypes!
Here's the full review. It's really funny.
Rambo Last Blood drops this weekend and critics are none to thrilled about it! IGN is just one of many whom find the film to be right wing propaganda.

"This is not a movie. This is mutilation porn. This is a gratuitously violent, shamelessly exploitative, gruesomely sadistic and utterly repellent piece of trash with no redeeming qualities other than its mercifully short running time of less than 90 minutes .Even then: far too long. A movie that reinforces racial stereotypes. A movie that plays a like a warped and twisted mash-up of “Taken” and “Home Alone,” and no, I’m not kidding."
"As for the usual jingoistic chest-thumping, that’s saved for a climactic voiceover. But Last Blood‘s basic takeaway — that heroes wear white hats and bad guys have brown skin — will be trumpeted throughout the whole bloody affair, from beginning to things-go-boom end. This is apparently what a Rambo movie circa 2019 now means. The man-vs.-cartel action you crave will be smothered in irresponsible fearmongering. The taste of toxicity will overwhelm whatever pulpy grindhouse pleasures you might have experienced. A franchise that started off with a sense of betrayal and righteous anti-authoritarian anger ends by parroting authoritarian talking points that betray what this country is about. Let this please be the last of its kind."
"At a time when children from Latin America are being ripped away from their parents at the southern border, when the president is planning to spend billions more on a boondoggle of a border wall, when racism against racial minorities is peaking. In other words, when we live in Trump's America, it is impossible to view this film as anything other than a rationalization of the very bigotries that are hurting millions of people in our real world."
This mirrors the previous political outrage over Death Wish's 2018 remake.
Well, we all know one thing with regards to current critics:
If critics hate it, it's probably good. If critics hate it and audiences love it, then it's good.
Yes, "Rambo: First Blood — Part II" is all about the idea that Communist no-goodniks and their liberal pencil-pushing bureaucratic enablers in Washington secretly know that there are Vietnam War POWs being held captive by one-dimensional Vietnamese caricatures, being tortured because America reneged on war reparations after the conflict (one wonders how leftists are supposedly such spendthrifts on certain occasions and then cheap on others). It vilifies both the Soviet Union and the Vietnamese in ways that are consistent with a neoconservative philosophy, both in the Cold War era and by implication in our own, and adds some conspiracy theorizing on top of that. One can imagine a casual Republican watching this movie, having a blast and then cursing about the damn liberals who betray America's soldiers but never pick up a gun themselves.
