Anime Right News (ARN) — Paul Nehlen, along with his campaign spokesman, have been suspended by Twitter. For Nehlen, his account has been temporarily suspended (“Limited”) for an entire week preventing him from Tweeting, while his campaign spokesman in turn has been permanently suspended.
Undoubtedly this severely restricts him from engaging with potential voters.
One week suspensions are often used by Twitter to trick their users into waiting through a timeout period, wherein they are then permanently suspended after their account is restored to full functionality, sometimes being de-verified during this process.
As we previously reported, Nehlen was also locked by the platform for a day, while employees from Twitter Support as well as Twitter Trust & Safety had endorsed his political opponents & were following their accounts. Due to this they may be obstructing the electoral process in Wisconsin.
97% of those polled by Anime Right News support Nehlen.
Nehlen responded to the action(s) taken by Twitter via his Gab account:
In a campaign statement, Nehlen mentioned that he was the second GOP candidate running for federal office to be suspended in the past two weeks by Twitter, once again heeding the need for his federal anti-censorship legislation for social media: Shall Not Censor.
You can always find Nehlen uncensored on Gab.
UPDATE: Paul Nehlen has released a statement regarding his suspension from Twitter.
