Decay and democrazy.
Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) was one of the first to counter-signal U.S. President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from Syria, pushing for new sanctions on the country, and increased hostility. More recently, Rubio has also voiced support for regime change in Venezuela, in-line with National Security Adviser John Bolton’s agenda.
Bolton’s rhetoric against Syria and Venezuela has ratcheted up substantially.
The big picture: President Trump’s order to withdraw troops from Syria has prompted backlash from Republicans and Trump allies, many of whom believe the move will allow ISIS to regain strength and leave a power vacuum to be filled by adversaries Russia and Iran. The bill was introduced by Sen. Marco Rubio and co-sponsored by Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Jim Risch.
Rubio’s bill has been approved by the U.S. Senate and targets the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) organization. The sanctions placed against Syria also affect various supporters of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Bolton also raised eyebrows when his notepad was seen with “5,000 troops to Columbia” scribbled on it, raising concerns that further U.S.-led regime change is currently in the works, with Rubio also stating that the U.S. must “go big” in Venezuela by utilizing Brazil. But where is this coming from?
Rubio states it is due to Hezbollah or Iran, alleged adversaries due to Israel's influence in U.S. politics. What many may not know, however, is Rubio's strong relationship to a man named Howard Jonas. Jonas is a billionaire from Newark, New Jersey, and driving force behind NORPAC—the little brother to AIPAC.
Jonas at a glance:
- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's #2 donor.
- Leveraged AT&T through the Bush 41 White House.
- Sits on the American Committee National Board of the Seryl And Charles Kushner Campus Shaare Zedek Medical Center In Jerusalem.
- Supported Charles Kushner during his criminal trial.
Jonas, the founder of Genie Energy, used the current White House to direct many malign activities to the benefit and presumably direction of Israel, the majority of which are covered in our report on Ira Greenstein, his employee.
Genie Energy is an American-based but Israeli government-backed corporation that exploits resources in the Golan Heights—which is recognized as Syrian territory.
Genie Energy acquired Mirabito Natural Gas, a natural gas supplier based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, in 2017.
Rubio praised the appointment of legendary neoconservative Elliot Abrams as Special Envoy on Venezuela, despite Abrams having been a key figure in Iran-Contra, among other nefarious affairs.
Who's really calling the shots?
Jonas, who as mentioned had influence with both Bush administrations, is also an admirer of notorious Jewish gangster Meyer Lanksy. Lansky established a working relationship between the Jewish mafia, Lucky Luciano and the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) while assaulting and oppressing Americans that opposed conflict with Germany.
Despite his repeated success, Mr. Jonas doesn't fit the stereotype of a New York investor. His fourth floor office in downtown Newark, N.J. overlooks the Passaic River and Harrison, N.J., and the décor reflects his eclectic interests. On the wall is an original painting by Winston Churchill, an 1878 letter from Thomas Edison, pictures of Mr. Jonas with past Republican presidents and a drawing of him from comic legend Stan Lee. He has a framed check for $37.02 signed by notorious Jewish gangster Meyer Lansky in 1936 to the New York Telephone Company, now part of Verizon.
If you had any doubts about his intentions.
