Following the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, France catching fire, and being partially destroyed, one Twitter account stood out amongst the myriad of responses.
The Jewish Worker.
Per its name, a self-described [Jewish] cultural Marxist publication, with Tweets by Editor Naftali Botwin.
The Jewish Worker Tweeted that those mourning the loss of the building, but not the Syrian Civil War, were disingenuous and also "White supremacists." Though it's not clear how a Gothic cathedral nearly a millenium old is equivalent to the nearly decade long conflict.
This followed an earlier Tweet about how Notre-Dame is "anti-Semitic."
Although the Tweet was later deleted, The Jewish Worker continued that an apology was out of the question, as they were bombarded in response.
In fairness to The Jewish Worker—they have mentioned one of the causations behind the Syrian Civil War.
