The striker was a free agent after his contract with the Dallas Mavericks expired

He signed for two years and averaged 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds

The Los Angeles Lakers signed forward Christian Wood this Tuesday, a free agent after playing with the Dallas Mavericks last season, on a two-year contract, the network “ESPN” reported. The 27-year-old Wood’s contract also includes a player option.

A native of Long Beach, California, Wood averaged 16.6 points and 7.3 rebounds last season with the Dallas Mavericks. He’s a dynamic forward with great offensive power coupled with three-point shooting ability (37% last year), but he wasn’t a good fit for Jason Kidd’s Mavericks.

In his NBA career, the striker played not only for the Mavericks but also for the Philadelphia 76ers, Charlotte Hornets, Milwaukee Bucks, Detroit Pistons, New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets.
